Harinaamakeerthanam

Harinamakeerthanam Harinamakeerthanam was written by Thunchathu Ezhuthachan and it comprises of 66 original verses in praise of Lord Vishnu. Written around 16th century the meaning of the word "Hari Nama Keerthanam" is the "Song of the Holy Names of Hari". Each stanza starts with a Malayalam alphabet from Stanza 14, after the initial prayer and the stanzas starting with the letters Hari:, Sree, Ga, Na, Pa, Tha, Ye, Na, Ma:. Stanzas 14 to 64(51) starts with letters A(അ) to Ksha(ക്ഷ), the traditional group of 51 Malayalam alphabets. Last two stanzas (65, 66) include phalashruti.
