Sampath Board Of Friendship I loved reading the piece "Allegedly, The Board of Friendship is here" by G Sampath in today's (February 8, 2026) The Hindu Magazine. I loved and hated "Sampath" since childhood (1940's) and much later I started loving to read G Sampath, author of the article I'm reading now. A Google search just now informed me why I am in love with G Sampath : "G. Sampath is the author of How to Make Enemies and Offend People, and the editor of The Pleasure Principle, an anthology of erotic stories. He lives in Delhi. Explore a thoughtfully curated collection of books that invite reflection, spark curiosity, and offer something meaningful for every kind of reader." Fair enough. Always consult Google when you are i doubt about what you thought. Jokes aside, G Sampath has done some serious research to improve the fate of the poor in India and failed, leaving it to the governments of the day to decide what is poverty and how to eradicate it. I think he became richer fast. Many are becoming richer by thinking about, analysing and commenting on poverty.
