Rock Music: A Veena-shaped rock piece with music inside

Rock music: A Veena from stone

According to a media report, a Veena-shaped granite (rock)  piece was recovered during the renovation work of Narasimhamurthy temple in Perambra (Kozhikode, Kerala). When touched with piece of granite, different projections on this stone produces different tunes from Sapthaswara. A report in Mathrubhumi daily (June 11) mentions that renowned South Indian musician V Dakshinamurthy had visited the place and verified and testified the efficacy of the stone to produce seven chords of musical sounds.
In some famous temples, there are stone pillars which produces musical notes when touched. Perhaps, this may be the unique case where the 7 notes emanate from the same stone.
