PSU banks should be allowed to tap best talent: SBI | Business Line

My VIEW:

This is a very valid multi-dimensional issue which should be debated among all stakeholders, including government, managements of banks, employees and their unions in banking industry and taxpayers. It is not just court interventions that stand in the way of infusion of talent to PSBs. Career progression and remuneration are related issues. From cost angle, PSBs are paying through the nose for ‘outsourcing’ IT and expertise in other fields. Let us have an open discussion.
