I, my friend and his wife went to a textile shop in Thiruvananthapuram on a Saturday evening in 1973. Returned in 30 minutes, after buying a silk saree and two cotton sarees and certain other items to be presented to the girl I would be marrying two weeks later.

They had to seek refuge in the hermitage of sage Saraba.The sage was a true devotee of Lord Shiva.He used to pray Shiva with melodious songs.
