Welcome To Warrier's Friends' COLLAGE, September, 2026 Part VIII Friends For me, Vishnu Sahasranamam is a familiar hymn since 1952. That year I was admitted to Class V in Kadathanad Raja's High School, Purameri from where I passed SSLC in 1959. My stay during 1952-59 was inside the Udayapuram Shiva Temple where my father was the Pujari. Everyday, my father used to recite Vishnu Sahasranamam for the benefit of two Royal Families. He used to allow me to accompany him for listening to the recital to either or both the royal residences. Though the practice continued for 7 years, I didn't get the Stotra byheart. Even today, I depend on the book for recalling stanzas from the hymn.
