When world bodies like UN and some of the Regional Alliances like European Union are struggling for survival and facing basic structural issues, India is able to play a lead role in creating a successful model for regional cooperation by helping BRICS to expand and grow. We can reasonably hope that the positive outcomes from the two-day summit will be much more than the deliberations on the agenda and resolutions.
