Those who have had no opportunity to read Dr S Radhakrishnan's well-researched book "The Bhagavad Gita" (First published by George Allen & Unwin, UK, 1948) may kindly read at least the 86 page Introductory Essay in the book. Let me quote two sentences from the essay : "It is argued that the teacher, Krsna, could not have recited the seven hundred verses to Arjuna on the battlefield. He must have a few pointed things which were later elaborated by the narrator into an elaborate work..." Many such common doubts are answered by different commentators. Researches will continue. Yesterday, in an oldies group, a youngie told me I don't know how to present a joke. I said, I don't know how to enjoy one either. No, I'm serious. Meaning of predator, I checked and here it is : "an animal that kills and eats other animals" The picture of an AI-generated lion appeared in full page ads in mainstream newspapers on Friday. I removed it from the context to hang my musings about the predictions about world coming to an end, AI taking over more work from humans and the scare unleashed by the marketing boys of the rich and the powerful. I found this picture a powerful image of AI-Future roaring to swallow humanity in one gulp. Let's face the reality. No one is planning to leave this planet alive. So, any fear of technology consuming humanity is unfounded. We'll discuss more in the coming days.
