All of us are going through a phase when we depend more on opes and Prayers. Nice Day M G Warrier A Select Responses 1) R Jayakumar Mumbai It is hard to believe that one year has passed so quickly since the first issue of ' Warrier's COLLAGE ' appeared for our daily viewing. I have been reading daily, without fail, not the entire contents of the COLLAGE, but at least on selective basis. It is a great and commendable effort put by Shri MGW to make the COLLAGE interesting and valuable for the readers. The lead articles are mostly contributed by very senior and learned personalities which keeps them busy and interactive in their retired life. The huge effort and time put in by Shri MGW to select the bits and pieces and compile the COLLAGE, a fully qualified online mini news paper, simply indicates that it is not for everyone to stand out and shine. My hearty congratulations to the COLLAGE on its first Birthday. 🌹 R Jayakumar (Thanks. Frankly, I'm also not sure when my daily message became Warrier's COLLAGE. "Branding" was Madan GauriaJi's idea. The title page was designed by Reshmy Warrier. Last month when we met my grandson Vihàan remembered it was about one year since the launch of Collage and asked me whether we're celebrating first Anniversary. Yesterday in some other context I mentioned to a reader that I have excused myself from writing regular articles for The Global ANALYST and slowly I want to withdraw from regular interaction in groups also, as I'm not able to catch up with current developments in the way I was doing during pre-pandemic days. When he further probed, I committed that Collage will continue for some more time. Then I thought of "Collage Anniversary Special"-Warrier 🙏) 2) S Nallasivan Hyderabad Dear Shri Warrier, We take this opportunity to wish Kiran Warrier many happy returns of the day and a very happy birthday. A few years ago, our Kerala Football team went to Gauhati, I think, in an ordinary Railway compartment and stayed in a sort of dormetry accommodation. When Mahabali asked Vamana what he wished for, he responded, “three pieces of land”. When Vamana was granted his wish, he grew in size and in his first and second pace respectively, he covered the sky, and then the netherworld. When he was about to take his third pace, Mahabali offered his head. This act impressed Vishnu and he granted Mahabali the right to visit his kingdom during Onam. Here's a look at all the things that our city can call its very own... Trichy is a city of a million sounds and sights. From the picturesque banks of Cauvery to the grand old Trichinopoly cigars, from the natural wonder Rockfort to religious shrines aplenty, there's something for everyone who visits the city.. From Lt Gen Prakash Katoch FB Wall... Plight of sportspersons aptly highlighted : Last Evening Felicitation of the Olympic Team on Arrival from Tokyo, shown on the TV was a very Poorly Org Event. The Best was when the Chairman Atheletic Federation of India was taking Credit for Himself and Broadcasting that Federation had provided Excellent Support to the Athletes and Players for the Tokyo Olympics!? Aditi Ashok, the Young 23 years old Golfer interjected and Exposed the Officials present there!! The Young Golfer who Missed her Bronze at the Last Put , Countered the Chairman and said that Neither Govt Nor the Federation Bothered to Show any Concern for the players. She narrated Her own plight. She was put up 75 Miles away from the Tournament Golf course and requested Indian officials to provide her with alternate accommodation nearby to the Course , but it fell on deaf ears. Consequently, She had to Wake Up each day at2- 3 am to Reach on time for her Game? Whereas all the other International players from Other Countries She was Competing With , were provided Hotel Accn at 2 Minute Distance form the Golf Course. A very Important point She made which only an official from Sports background can un sederstand and Not any other Politicians stooge or Babu Type Contingent official/ Head?. It did Adversaly Affected her play and performance and Probably A Medal. *Received from Dr T V Surendran Mananthavady Also see :. The practice is probably older than speech. Sign language may be as coarsely expressed as mere grimaces, shrugs, or pointings; or it may employ a delicately nuanced combination of coded manual signals reinforced by facial expression and perhaps augmented by words spelled out in a manual alphabet. Wherever vocal communication is impossible, as between speakers of mutually unintelligible languages or when one or more would-be communicators is deaf, sign language can be used to bridge the gap.
