Warrier's Collage on National Nuts Day 2024

Welcome To Warrier's COLLAGE On National Nuts Day, 2024 Good Morning Occasional Midweek edition of Collage is brought out when more than one subject is covered in a daily message. Regards M G Warrier Speaking Tree https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/toi-edit-page/a-calm-mind-is-the-main-ingredient-of-success/ The Bhagwad Gita speaks of serenity of mind as the main ingredient of success. When the mind is calm, intellect is sharp, and action is brilliant. However intelligent or talented you may be, if the mind is agitated, intellect cannot think properly, and action is flawed. No business school in the world addresses this issue. A AI : Nakali Intelligence? The pocket cartoon under Sacred space in The Times of India on October 21, 2024 by Ginni Rometty which just tells us "The key to success with AI is not just having the right data, but also asking the right questions" made me sit back and think. The statement said what I wanted to say and was trying to say in different ways, but couldn't say convincingly, in a universally acceptable language. Here's my thoughts briefly expressed in less than 20 words by a cartoonist. Thanks TOI, thank you, Ginni Rometty. Long ago, some scholar, writing about probability had made a statement that if a number of monkeys were given typewriters and allowed to go on typing, there's a probability that one day, one of those monkeys may type a sonet from Shakespeare. AI minus human brain, is comparable to the monkey-key-sense he was visualising. Not very clear. Ok, I will try to explain. I'm trying to say that AI minus human brain has no relevance or, going a step further, without the support of human brain in flesh and blood, AI doesn't exist. AI, as mentioned in the cartoon, is an ocean of "data" pooled together. Technology helps you to locate where's what. That's what we are told indirectly, "you get what you want by asking the right questions". Question has to come from real human brain. AI cannot frame right questions at the right time. B Reader's Response Dhanam Commerce & Business Biweekly (Malayalam) October 15, 2024 "Textbook of Finance for Kerala" It would be appropriate to refer to Dhanam Biweekly as Textbook of Finance for Kerala. The September (I &II) combined edition can be treated as a Textbook of Finance. The life's lessons culled out from the personal experience of 24 leaders in the industrial and financial sector in Kerala will be very enlightening for the stakeholders in the sector. The editorial team of Dhanam deserves special appreciation for the maintenance of consistent positivity in approach. M G Warrier Mumbai C Quotes to remember If You Have An Idea...Jump On It! When you have an idea, jump on it and make it happen. The reason you have the idea is because you're the person who can bring it to life. When there's something that must be done, get busy and do it. Waiting until later will just make it more difficult, so be easy on yourself and get it over with. When there's something you would really love to do, start working on making it happen. If you put it off until someday, that someday will never come. Don't just know it or see it or feel it or plan it or wish for it. Act on it. You can make things happen right here and now, so do. Every situation presents you with an opportunity to add to life's substance. The longer you wait, the more opportunities you miss. Jump in, jump on it, and make the most of your awesome possibilities right now. — Ralph Marston D National Nut Day 2024 https://nationaltoday.com/national-nut-day/#:~:text=U.S.&text=National%20Nut%20Day%20is%20celebrated,to%20choose%20healthier%20snack%20options.
