Warrier's Collage March 2, 2022

Warrier's COLLAGE On Wednesday, March 2, 2022 Art of Living support : Evacuation from Ukraine https://youtu.be/atP7FiDAIcc There are times when words get choked. Since childhood we have been trained to fix the responsibility for anything going wrong on something/someone else. It started with mother slapping the floor when the child falls down. M G Warrier A Responses 1) Jyothilakshmi Anil Kumar Ref : Mahashivratri How sweet of your dad to reserve few tender coconut for his dear ones. I am curious to know if the temple very close to your heart still organises/conducts Mahashivratri celebration the same way; with the customs and traditions intact. I am worried about the sustenance of our folk art forms, our culture and pride. Seen being performed at fewer temples only nowadays. The course of events in Ukraine has dashed their hopes and dreams. But by acting quickly to rehabilitate them, the Government of India and States can create a precedent and ‘resolution template’ if there are similar and unfortunate situations in the future. There should be a high powered expert group in place, with representation from the Government of India, States and educational institutions, to coordinate admissions for these students in domestic institutions, commensurate with their qualifications and academic record so far. Governments and corporates may have to subsidise costs on a need-based basis. Educational institutions may have to be permitted to create additional seats on a supernumerary basis, for once. Most students may be in a position to bear the costs up to the level they had planned while in Ukraine. M.G. Warrier, Thiruvananthapuram E Madhavan Thrissur says : "Medical admission is already complex. This will open a Pandora's Box...." (True. But the rich and the powerful have made the world a complex place. 🙏-Warrier) II https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/article65144087.ece March 1, 2022 Budget Vyakarana This refers to BL-Exclusive interaction with FM specific to Budget 2022-23 (March 1). One has to concede that year by year India's budget documents are becoming more transparent and efforts to conceal uncomfortable reality slowly tapers off. This interaction was more about markets and industry and concerns arising from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It's too early to analyse the Russian gamble and it's implications for world economy. Still, the Finance Minister will, in the normal course, have a relook and perhaps, change priorities for the short term, to accommodate costs on rehabilitation of Indians returning from abroad and overhauling the country's preparedness to meet any eventuality arising from the Russian adventure and the apparent sterility of nations which could have taken positions to reduce large scale loss of lives and resources. The Village, where rents are low, is a quaint bohemian place peopled by artists, poets and writers. Those who deal with the printed word come to New York to be near literary markets. At No.1 Minetta Lane, in a basement storeroom office, the last copies of the first issue of Reader’s Digest, with a February 1922 cover date, are being readied for shipment. The work is supervised by DeWitt Wallace and Lila Acheson Wallace, founders and co-editors of the magazine. They have hired habitués of the speakeasy upstairs to help. Finally, the last of 5,000 copies are wrapped, addressed, trussed in mailbags and set outside. A cab will take them to the nearest post office, from where they will be sent to subscribers. Then will come days of anxious waiting to see if the little newcomer is indeed what the world has been waiting for. F Save the world : Osho https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/toi-edit-page/save-the-world-from-war-spread-meditativeness/ Only one thing can save the world from the coming war – which will be a total war – this is going to destroy the whole of life on the earth. Trees, birds, animals, man – anything living will simply be gone. There is one way only, and that is to spread to people more meditativeness, more love, more friendliness, and more rejoicing. If we can make the earth sing songs and dance in joy, in gratitude because existence has given so much – otherwise, it would have been impossible even to purchase one sunrise. And a sunrise is a big thing – the whole wealth of the earth would not be able to produce a single rose. And all this is given to man without his asking. You don’t deserve it, you are not worthy of it. It is out of the compassion of existence, the overflowing joy of existence, the continuous creativity of existence that you are so rich. Millions of stars in the night. G Inspirational Quotes https://everydaypower.com/quotes-tough-times/
