Nearly 1% of the population is stated to suffer from this disorder. Since it is a disorder of the brain functioning, there does not appear to be a total cure. Even partial improvement itself is considered to be a success. The physical exercises and mental exercises, definitely help but not to the desired extent. Some people progress well, attend school and eke out their livelihood. But many of them suffer mentally, physically and become victims of social contempt. Mothers are hard pressed and are unable to bestow max attention to the other normal children, who sometimes become adamant and slow learners. The entire family surrounding is gloomy notwithstanding the patience and real understanding by the parents. It can reveal our hidden fears, unfulfilled desires, jealousies, inadequacies, regrets about things done or deferred, and even the concealed existential meaninglessness of life. The solitude of quarantine can jolt us with an encounter with perhaps the most intimidating figure in our lives–our innermost self. Harshly, we are reminded of what the existentialist philosopher Jean Paul Sartre once said: If you are lonely when alone, you are in a bad company. It would have been interesting if L’Intransigeant had posed their philosophical questions to Sartre. How should people take the lonesomeness amidst the tribulations of this pandemic?Sartre would perhaps point out that loneliness is hardly our social condition; it is our existential condition. He would turn his philosophical gaze to the root of the rot–our existential condition–that there is no inherent purpose or meaning to our lives, or, rather, our lives are too free to be contained within the bounds of a predetermined purpose or meaning. The events in our lives are like stray instances, strewn carelessly over the canvas of time. We knit these stray instances together into a meaningful story–or stories–which we call ‘life.’ Through the act of crafting a meaningful story, we craft meaning for our otherwise purposeless existence." That's why..* Education is not to break the mind by force but to gently open it by love. vathsala Jayaraman 2) You're also Right* Several decades back, there was a system in America, whereby eminent people in various walks of life not connected to law were appointed as judges. In one case the lawyer for the plaintiff was powerfully arguing points in his client’s favour, frequently thumping on the table. The judge was very impressed and said-“How right you are” The lawyer for the accused elaborated on points diametrically different and with equal table thumping. The judge was again impressed and repeated -“How right you are” The foreman of the jury was not impressed. He told the judge ‘You honour , the 2 lawyers held opposite views. How can both of them be correct?” To which the judge replied “Yes, you are also right” *Received from A P Ramadurai Che├▒nai G Quotes about Flowers Inspirational Quotes can be found on Google, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram or in stores on cards, posters and wooden signs. You may even be looking for one sometimes. They can give you new insights and offer recognition. They comfort, motivate and encourage you. Quotes can offer you a moment of reflection and contemplation. Pretty powerful stuff, right? That is the power of words: they influence you. Even if you are not searching for words, the words will find you. https://www.bloomaker.com/blog/55-inspirational-flower-quotes?format=amp Like : “What a lonely place it would be to have a world without a wildflower!”– Roland R. Kemler H 1) Continued from A2 Some mothers become so desperate that they, contrary to the real motherhood, start praying for the end of the child during their life time. Her anxiety of 'who will look after the child after her death?' simply kills her. Though there are many institutes trying their level best to bring the children to normalcy, the success rate is not encouraging. While alternative medicines seem to help in emotional disorders, they don't have much to help in autistic children who are severely affected by cerebral palsy & mental retardation. What is the remedy for such children? Vathsala Jayaraman 2) Psychology (Continued from C1) As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full. So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I take my cheque book off the table, and see that there is only one cheque left. My extra cheques are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking. I'm going to look for my cheques, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over. The Coke is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need water. I put the Coke on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the car isn't washed the bills aren't paid there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter the flowers don't have enough water, there is still only 1 cheque in my cheque book, I can't find the remote, I can't find my glasses, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys. Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail.... Do me a favor. Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember whether I've sent it to you before.... Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your days are coming!! 3) Astrology : Jupiter Transit 2021 https://www.astroswamig.com/articles/jupiter-transit-2021-effects-and-remedies Speculating astrologists believe that Jupiter remains in Aquarius until September 15th, after which, it will retrograde and enter Capricorn.
