Welcome To Warrier's COLLAGE On Sunday October 16, 2022 Sarvapriyananda on "Our Real Nature" https://youtu.be/ylkIS3HE4gQ (Based on Vivekananda's teachings) Good Morning Happy Birthday to all readers having Birthday during the week ending Saturday October 22, 2022. Ayurarogyasaukhyam 🙏 and Best Wishes to all A big Thank You to all who remembered me yesterday 🙏 Nice Day M G Warrier A Messages/Responses 1) Sitendra Kumar Ref : Collage on Saturday Excellent in all respects. So glad to have video on Ashoka University which portends to be one of the best globally in years to come. Congrats to Kiran Warrier's son on getting admission here. Shri Gopal Gandhi, grandson of Gandhiji teaches here. I had great urge to have a glimpse of the University as I have passed through several times via Sonepat. It has one of the finest professors whose articles I always cherish. Apart from Shri Gopal Gandhi's which are most sublime, topical and without any malice to anybody, I read that of Shri Dipankar Gupta, also of Ashoka University, who was earlier in JNU. There was one member in Central Board of Directors of RBI by same name but I believe both are not the same person. Equipped with the best academics and congenial campus, it has an excellent environment to expand the horizon of knowledge. Shri Subbaraman's anguish regarding RBI's inability to dispense justice to its retirees, I'm sure would be shared by all. Shri Babusenan's narrative of Bangalore s interesting and in any future visit I wish to explore MTR. A good cerebral article regarding the dilemma faced by the professionals I have kept for reading and thinking for another day. It requires deep awareness on the part of every educated person. The leisure reading Astrologer's prediction should be an eye opener for all the children. An excellent collage, I always look forward to it. Regards, Sitendra Kumar 2) S Nallasivan The Ashoka University when it was planned the very Proposal had been code named as Project Nobel spelling the aspirations of the founders to groom more Swedish Academy Nobel's to the Nobel starved Country. True to its aspirations it now rank at number 2 among top 100 Private Universities. Their moto has been not to confine Education as a stepping stone for jobs. A reading of the bibliography of Ashoka University is very impressive. Shri Kiran Warrier in his wisdom struck gold when he found Ashoka University for his son Govind. It is good that Govind could come out successfully and now is a student of Ashoka. We wish the young man all the best in his academic pursuit and of course our blessings too. S Nallasivan 3) C V Subbaraman I am opening my mail box after a lapse of 14 long days. I had gone to a village called Pareeka in Udupi district to participate in a Yoga and Naturopathy program in a celebrated Naturopathy Hospital called the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Yoga and Naturopathy Hospital* (of which the main trustee is the well respected Shri Virendra Heggade) . I was totally cut off from outside world. After the program was over on 9th October, I visited Udupi temple and from there went to Sri Dharmasthala to pay respects to Manjunatheswara Bhagawan and returned to Mysuru only this morning at 3. *Know More : https://www.worldofnaturopathy.com/sri-dharmasthala-manjunatheshwara-sdm-yoga-and-nature-cure-hospital-udupi/ (Link included as suggested by V R Chittanandam ) B Current Affairs Dr Charan Singh on India Economy Happy Weekend watching _Video Talk_ https://egrowfoundation.org/newsroom/epitomizing-inflation-and-growth-trajectory-in-india/ In this 44-minutes talk, I argue that the Advanced Economies need to play a more responsible global role as their policy inaction during subprime, and agressive action after Lehman is impacting Emerging Market Economies rather badly. I argue that Regulators in the US faltered repeatedly which led to expansion in Balance sheet of Central bank and consequently inflation. Now, over tightening, in the current engineering of recession by sharply raising interest rates could disrupt banking, and credit growth. There is a lesson for the world from the cautious approach adopted by India. This step can become historic in the country's gold management history. The present global gold scenario gives India a once in a lifetime opportunity to quickly redeploy a part of the country's idle domestic gold stock for productive use. Illustratively, if one-fifth of the estimated 25,000 tonnes of the stock can be mainstreamed and accounted, over a period of five years, import of gold will come down substantially. Impact will be two-way. One, as those who invest their gold will earn at least 2 percent per annum on their gold investment and there will be foreign exchange savings to the extent gold imports come down. There will be other long term benefits also for the nation's economy. All these will become more feasible and socially acceptable, once a gold hubb of international reputation develops around Kolar gold fields with state of the art facilities for gold management "from mines to market". Standardization, mainstreaming and accounting, as also creating awareness among the people of India about gold as a productive investment option, besides "store of value", will improve the chances of India's faster economic growth during the current decade. Whenever you are faced with a difficult situation, simply remember, "Whatever happens is for Good.” Think, “Probably God wants it that way. I know whatever God does is always good for me.” This thought alone will take the burden out of your heart. Your mind will become light. You will be ready to handle any situation, "because it is for my good.” You won't be frightened, no matter what happens. That means your mind will be prepared to accept things. It is the preparedness of the mind that is the secret of Success. You are relieving yourself of the burden and tension, so the mind becomes more calm. A calm mind can face any situation. So, accept that whatever may happen, it is for your good. It is true. Anything in life that happens is ultimately for good. The goodness may not be visible right away, but it will be experienced later on. When we are afraid to face things, the fear itself creates a bigger problem. When filled with anxiety, the mind is no longer fit to face challenge of Life.. “God is with me. I am not alone. I am always well protected. Nothing can affect me because I am the child of God, And He won't allow anything to hurt me. Then why is there pain in this? There must be some gain behind it. It is all for my Good.” Swami Satchinanda Maharaj. 👌🌹😁 V T Panchapagesan (Collage adds* : In such well-meaning write-ups, don't get stuck with words like God or Prayer. Replace any word which disturbs you with your own name or any other word and try to take home some useful ideas. If nothing works forward or delete the message 🙏-Warrier) *In the light of stray responses received. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.
