South side of our village is Achankovil river and east side is low-lying paddy fields. There is a higher level land on the east side of paddy field bordering the river. Fifty years back some Harijan families used to stay in the higher-level land. Now all communities live there. Every monsoon the paddy fields and harijan settlements used to get submerged in water. Fifty years back when the incident which I narrate happened, the Harijan people there used to draw the drinking water from the river. There was a marriage in one of the families. After the meal, Payasam (sweet kheer) is served. When Payasam was served, one of the old lady folded the banana leaf with payasam and ran to the river and vomited. People enquired what happened to her. She said her stomach was full and when she took Payasam, felt like vomiting. What exactly happened was that the Payasam served to her contained a small non-poisonous river frog. With her mature action she could avert a big quarrel. *Accessed from Exrbites Group mail D Astrology/Astronomy: Jupiter and you 1) https://www.speakingtree.in/blog/jupiter-you-and-good-luck/m-lite 2) http://www.shrivinayakaastrology.com/Planets/roleofjupitor.html#:~:text=Jupiter%20represents%20education%2C%20wisdom%2C%20wealth,nature%20signifies%20growth%20and%20development 3) Jupiter and Vedic Astrology https://www.astroguruonline.com/planet-jupiter-vedic-astrology/ E Facing fall in fortune Excerpt from Neetiishatakam "prāyaḥ kandukapātenotpatatyāryaḥ patannapi| tathā patannanāryastu mṛtpiṇḍapatanam yathā|| bhartṛhareḥ nītiśatake|| From Bhartruhari's Neetishatakam A noble and cultured person, even if a fall in fortunes happens to him, would bounce back to normal heights like a ball thrown down.
