Continuing connection - Vyasa-Pandava relationship

When I read this, I remember to have read or heard about all these relationships. But the thought that Vishnu Purana, Mahabharatham and Bhagavatham came from the same family of sages and the Arjuna-Parikshit relationship had not been retrievably stored in my hard disc.
