INDIAN INSTITUTE OF GOVERNANCE: A WELCOME INITIATIVE

Awareness about the relevance of leadership is growing in India in recent times. Though there are some green shoots, the same cannot be said about political leadership’s willingness to educate their cadres to improve their skills to effectively participate in the democratic processes which have a significant role in providing good governance. It is comforting to see that new institutions are coming up under the able leadership of veterans like B S Raghavan to fill a long-felt need for mass education in leadership for good governance.
